I'm thinking of upgrading the processor on this machine and need to know what to buy? I t is currently has a AMD Alton II 22 Dual core in it now. This is an old pc but a project at low cost for my grandson to have a a computer repair project. The computer works fine. I usually buy parts off amazon for computer parts. I also have a question on installing a processer fan that was a old fan 12 volts  0.5 AMP and i have one that is a new one that is 12 volts 0.18 AMPs . I want to know if the new fan is ok to use in place of the old one?

I am not sure that this is the best thing to do!
The list of processors is indicated here, but it is not very detailed:
If the pc is in its original configuration there is not much point in starting with the processor!
for example i read that the pc originally 2go of ram is ridiculous
for the fan, better not to test!
