my desktop was compromised and now I am no longer able to gain access

@ssap,

Your a tad too vague with the inquiry.  What appears on the screen?

Make/model number.   Example:  HP 795-0010      Please do not give product number.

At power-on start pressing : Do any of the Function keys   ESC, F1, F2, F8 or F11 render any options?

1) If it is asking for a password, keep trying. After 5 attempts it should give an option to be called with a code. In the initial setup you gave the system a call back number or an email address.

2) We are not allow to give assistance to password lockout.
