Product: HP Envy 795-0300qd
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Envy 795-0300qd. I would like to upgrade my video card to an evga -1060. Is the 400w enough and does it include 6 pin aux power for card? I'm having problem getting the 500w, plus the 400w is cheaper and available. Thanks for any help you might have.

Jacky-D has escalated your previous thread on this issue.

 

The 400 watt HP PSU, which is compatible with your PC's motherboard, will power a 6 GB GTX 1060.

 

I don't know if the HP 400 watt PSU has a six pin connector. I would think the HP 400 watt PSU should provide at least one 6 plus 2 pin PCIe connector to power a better graphics card.

Thank you very much for your help. HP wants $59.95 for me to talk to a level 2 tech, to answer this question. How does HP sell parts without an accurate description?
