There are no settings I can find to let me by pass the alignment page and set up everytime the printer is turned off or electricity goes off or I change a cartridge.  It serves no purpose wastes time and wastes tons of paper.  I just print single cart.  Is there anyway to by pass this BS.  It practically wastes an ink cartridge to get through a pointless set up.

Never turn the printer off -- it should go to "sleep" after some minutes of non-usage.

Purchase a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) and connect the printer to it, to supply power to the computer when the electrical power quits.

For best printed results after changing a cartridge, it is recommended to perform the alignment.

What model-number of your printer?
