Why do you think that you need to update the BIOS? 

Have you researched what the update will fix? 

Are you encountering any of the situations that the update will fix?

 

There are far too many "BIOS update failed" threads on this discussion forum, from contributors who turned their computer into a "brick".  My recommendation is to NOT try to update the BIOS.

 

Is this your computer: HP Pavilion All-in-One - 23-q102a (Touch) | HP® Customer Support

or something very similar, with the same motherboard? 

I do not see any BIOS update for this motherboard.
