On 06/07/17 I installed sp79756

Maybe sp79756 was from this page?  Not sure . . . https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-z240-tower-workstation/8354563/swItemI...

HP Z240/Z238 series Workstation System BIOS . . . sp79756.exe (17.2 MB)
Version: 1.54 Rev. A
Operating Systems: Windows 10 (64-bit)
Release date: Apr 10, 2017

. . . so, I think that I have the latest version (being after 04/10/17)

Flashing on my screen, I see . . . BIOS Version/Date . . . HP N51 Ver. 01.54, 03/16/17

QUESTIONS:
1.) Why doesn't it say Rev. A ?
2.) Why does it say 03/16/17 ?

This is confusing:

It shows the previous versions were:

1.50 Rev.A     17.3 MB     Feb 13, 2017
01.07 Rev.A     11.8 MB     Dec 11, 2015

On this page . . . HP Z240 Tower Workstation . . . https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-z240-tower-workstation/8354563

It shows the previous versions were:

1.50 Rev.A    17.3 MB    Feb 13, 2017

Why am I asking about this?

I was looking for a manual for the BIOS, because I was having an issue with the Micron Storage Executive, as described on this page:

It updates the firmware after every Restart now? Answer: Put the BIOS on Legacy Support . . . http://forums.crucial.com/t5/Crucial-SSDs/It-updates-the-firmware-after-every-Restart-now-Answer-Put...

One page said that a possible fix was to make sure it's not set to RAID, but AHCI. I didn't see either in the BIOS itself, so I imagine that the manual would have this information.

. . . It doesn't matter, though, because the fix appeared to be to change it from Secure boot to Legacy Support

But, I'd still like to see if there is a manual, for other reasons, as described on this page:

With this BIOS setting, why isn't NumLock enabled / "On" when it gets to the Login screen? . . . https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Software-and-How-To-Questions/With-this-BIOS-setting-why-isn-t...
