Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I tried to update my BIOS from the oldest version. But I managed to update only to the version “Ami 80.08, 04.17.2017”. When updating not through Windows, they give an error “bios image file specified did not pass validation”. When updating via a downloadable file, all versions except the last are closed after checking SSID. And the latest version gives the error "de - Error: Bios report ROM file crash".My motherboard model 2b2c.HP Pavilion - 550-006ur (ENERGY STAR)

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Have you attempted a BIOS recovery to resolve this issue?

If you haven't, Here is a link to HP Desktop PCs - Recovering the BIOS that should help you to overcome this difficulty.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
