Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have have a hpcpu in which there is a motherboard : hewlett packard 3647h in which core 2 duo e8400 is installed but I want to replace the processor with core 2 quad q8400 . so can i do it ?

so, I found out that the core 2 quad Q8400 supports that motherboard .
