I have been trying to connect my laptop to my monitor to use it as a second screen. I am using an HDMI cable and usb c converter to connect the two screens. The same setup works at my work monitor. However, when I try to connect the two at my home HP M24F monitor, the monitor screen remains blank. I tried looking for software upgrades for my computer, but my operating system is not listed as one of the OS that has available downloads/software. My laptop recognizes the monitor under its devices, but the monitor screen remains blank. However, when I connect my nintendo switch to my monitor, the monitor works fine. Can someone please help me find the correct software in order to use my monitor? I am Windows 10 version 21H2
