Product: ENVY 32 a009na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

For the past few years I have been using an HP 550=130na desktop - I  am now waiting delivery of an HP ENVY 32 -a009na  All-in-One. desktop

Does anyone have any tips/ideas regarding what I should or should not do when moving all my files and software over to the new computer.

You must manually install all programs. Be sure to un-install all Microsoft programs from the old drive, as the product key has been registered.  IMHO you should do that with any registered "product" or "application".   Data folders, ie documents, pictures, music and such can be file copied to an external device and later file copied to the new unit.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
