That app is new and was just released 6/23/2023
I downloaded it from here and ran in on my Z400 with GTX-1070 and it ran ok.
Possibly, you might have out of date Visual C runtime. Bring up the windows event viewer and look under applications and system for error messages at the same time (1:29 am)
If the error (if any) occurs in location "s (x86)\HP\HP Performance Advisor" then there is a bug in the app.
If the error comes from some other location you might want to update Microsoft's visual C runtime apps
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-US/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170
get the latest and both 32 and 64 bit runtimes. I recall they all get installed not just the 64 bit.
Please post the error message, if any, shown in the event viewer about 1:29 am when the error was reported.
Did you run the program at 1:29am or did you run it earlier and leave the performance app running in background and discovered the error when looking at the display the next morning?

Those are disk errors. Your disk drive is failing
Run the scan disk app to try to repair the disk drive.
once the drive has been repaired (??) do the OS file repair from the admin command prompt
lemme know if a problem

It's an SSD. I also do dism.exe ./online /cleanup-image /restorehealth before I do sfc
I also plan on installing a m.2 to boot front and a fresh Windows 10 install of the latest build. Then add my editing programs SO after all this I get the same error message and there was an update to the performance advisor. I even emailed the email on the error window in the log. to that and waiting for a reply.results etc.
