Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hello, my system upgraded to windows 10 but now its giving me a (STOP C0DE: BAD SYSTEM CONFIG INFO) I cannot choose the legacy option no matter what I do to choose a CD/VD or USB option because its stuck on UEFI.  I have disabled secure boot and it still wont let me choose the Legacy option. Any info is appreciated.

@mrniceguy111,

Are you able to boot to the desktop, or are you at a Blue Screen?

If at the desktop:

There are a few updates to the drivers, but you need this for the DVD driver.

It boots up and try to repair but it resorts to the error ccode as previusly stated.  The legacy option cannot be enabled in this OS which is horrible. There is no way to update the DVD driver unless im able to install the OS.

@mrniceguy111,

IMHO, your situation would require a re-install of the WIN 8.1

If you go this route, you will lose all. It will revert back to DAY-1.

If you can pull the HD and copy data files to a USB external drive, that would help.

Under no circumstance use a WI-FI connection.
