Hi,
I am unsure of what to do to check if I can update my BIOS or not. I have checked HP's software/driver and Windows 10 is the only OS I can select (I have 11). I have checked Support Assistant which states that there is no update available (I have AMI F.40). I know there are updates past this but I don't want to just go downloading AMBIOS8 from AMO's site and running programs which could cause significant issues. Here are the specs of my board:
Motherboard: HP 8059
Vendor: HewlettPackard
Serial: PJBCP0DK9CBAUC
SouthBridge: Unknown
LpcIO: Unknown
Version: 00
My overall goal is to overclock my CPU but everything I have watched/read shows a detailed BIOS/UEFI far beyond what I can see. OMEN hub isn't working for the same issue Intel's software isn't (VBS is still running regardless of multiple instructions found--weird because last year, I had no issues disabling it). I am willing to try OCing from BIOS but--well, already detailed the issue.
Please help!
