Product: HP Pavillion 500-027C
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

A few years ago completely corrupted the bios, recently bought a CH341A to flash it since it wont accept keyboard inputs. Unable to find ROM family, but product number is L9L29AAR#ABA. No longer on hp support site, listed as retired. If anyone can find the ROM family and the latest bios, would be much appreciated!

According to the information I could find online regarding your PC's motherboard, it comes with a HP ' Orchid2-S' motherboard.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

It appears that the motherboard has a BIOS SSID of 2B35.

 

Below are the info and exe file links to the latest BIOS update I could find for that motherboard SSID:

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77501-78000/sp77785.html

 

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp77501-78000/sp77785.exe 

 

The BIOS update files are in exe format only, and even if you extract the exe file into its folder using 7-zip, there is another exe file in the folder that is created that cannot be extracted any further.
