Product: HP VP6110 digital projector
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I have an old but virtually unused HP digital projector (model no.VP6110) that I have connected to my 2015 iMac.  I can see that a connection has been made but nothing is being projected when I mirror the displays.  The projection light comes on and, as it has hardly been used, 5 hours max, it is bright. Do i need to download a software update? I have a usb lead connected  as well as the VGA, which is made Mac compatable with a vga - mini display connector. Can anyone help me to sort this out?

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
