Hard drive failure error

HP Recommended
Pavilion T4A02AA#ABA
I have been receiving the following error:
Smart hard disk error. The smart hard disk check has detected an imminent failure.

The HP system states that my warranty has expired. What can I do? I paid a LOT of money for my computer and at this moment this is really worrying me

@Ibjg1403,

The hard facts are never easily accepted.  The warranty period ends, and you have an issue.

I have had hard drives fail in 90 days.  It's critical you maintain a data backup, or clone the drive on a scheduled basis. If you can,  clone your hard drive.

If you keep on with a failing HD, you will lose your data.  If you did not create the Recovery USB or DVD media, and it fails, you can add to the cost a NEW retail WIN 10 OS.

This system is feedback driven thru Solution and Kudo flags. It's the only means of knowing if you have been served. Please click Accept as Solution, if your problem is solved. To say THANK YOU, press the "thumbs up symbol" to render a KUDO. You can render both Solution and KUDO..
