Product: Pavillion 24 All-in-One-k0xxx
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi. I just bought a new Pavillion 24 All-in-One-k0xxx system, and the experience was going well until I found out that the BIOS option to disable the Action Keys is no longer there. (see threads here, here, and here).

 

So, my question is which BIOS update do I have to apply to include this option? I see this issue has been reported for almost two years now, so I expect at least such an update should be already available.

 

Finally, which 'genius' in Product Design approved removing such feature? Function Keys have been the primary use of these keys for decades. The so-called "Action Keys" are just secondary, lazy functions!

If there is no function in the bios, there are only a few options:
