I have a HP Pavillion and I have a device(CD Burner) that is not recognized by the usb port

HP Recommended
HP 500-c60
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to burn a DVD from my computer to a GCC-T10n external burner.  The burner does not need a driver but when "TroubleShooted" comes up w a error message

"Plug the Device into an available USB 2.0 Port and click next"

"USB Mass Storage Device is an older device and might not work with USB 3.0"

My computer lists the USB Port as:  AMD USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller-1.0(Microsoft)

it was suggested that I get a AMD update or reinstall the driver listed for the port shown above.

How can I get my computer to recognize this burner?

@SirFaz

>>> USB Mass Storage Device is an older device and might not work with USB 3.0"

Your machine has 4 USB 2.0 ports (2 at the front and 2 at the back) and 2 USB 3.0 ports (at the back). Please ONLY plug the external CD to USB 2.0 ports.

>>> AMD USB 3.0 eXtensible Host Controller-1.0(Microsoft)

You plugged it to an USB 3.0 port.

Regards.
