Welcome to the HP Community Forum.

OK - If the computer storage says it's full and you say it is not full,

The next step is to check to determine how the system is allocating the space on your system / disk.

Check and then decide how to move forward.

I've used this tool for years:

Tree Size Free

Language selector (at this writing) at the top right of the web page - German and English

Works at least in Windows 10 and Windows 11.

Works on local disks -- no waiting for the software to chunk along counting the sectors.

Works remote disks (for example, those in a NAS), though in the case of very large storage, the response is slower.

Download / Install / Open

Select Directory (Folder or Disk)

Example - Tree Size Free

Tree_Size_Free_Sample_3Tree_Size_Free_Sample_3

Reasonable Reminders

  • Be careful -- too much enthusiasm removing things you don't understand can destroy your system.
  • Before you start removing stuff, make sure you at least have your personal data backed up to other than the local system.
  • Disk space is not the only measure of whether a computer will support game play -- also important, resources like cpu, network, and other components.  Check your system against the system requirements for playing the game.  System requirements, that is, "what you need to run the game" are generally available at the site where you download the software.
