MY HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p014 KEEPS POWERING OFF and RESTARTING WITHOUT NOTICE

MY HP Pavilion Desktop - 570-p014 KEEPS POWERING OFF and RESTARTING WITHOUT NOTICE. It has been doing this since I bought it. It does it about once a day and I risk losing valuable keyed but not saved yet information.

It normally does this after an hour after I power on.  I hear the fan working so I don't think it is overheating but I am not 100%.  The computer is basically brand new.  It's 6 months old and I have 6 months left on the manufacturer warranty.

I really hope this is an easy fix because I don't want to have to send it in because I need my computer everyday and imagining a few days to weeks without it is terrifying within itself.

Help.

Hi @jsenatus,

Thank you for posting on HP Forums,

The Barachiel is at your service.

I understand you are in need of support,

I'll be glad to help you out, however, for an accurate solution I will need more details:

Have you attempted any steps on your own before posting on the HP Forums?

When was the last time it worked without these issues?

Did you run a hardware test on the computer using the F2 key during a restart?

In the meantime, please try the steps mentioned below:

Update the bios through HP support assistant, and also perform windows update.

Also, follow this link ( http://hp.care/2FWKgYf ) and perform necessary steps. 🙂

Please reply with the details for further assistance.

Eager to help!

Barachiel
