Hi all, do any of you use the McAfee Live Virus software that comes with HP computers.
Is it any good, and is it just Anti Virus Software
I usually use AVG Internet Security and have never had a virus on my old computers.
Has anyone removed MacAfee and installed another make n their computer and did this cause any issues.
Thank u

You might check reviews of antivirus products. Some reviews, if not all, are funded by selling the antivirus. I looked at a lot of reviews and notice that Microsoft Defender was rarely mentioned. It comes free with Windows so what is there to sell?
PC magazine has reviews. It is not like "consumer report" but I would trust it better than google or amazon.

I have both Defender and MalwareBytes. MB is paid but I got in before they started a subscriptoin service.
I discontinued McAfee for a number of reasons. It is free with your system and is probably licensed for your smart phone and they allow additional licenses probably total of 5. I would use it until it expires.
Thank you for using HP products and posting to the community.
