Microsoft Office 2010 Starter

HP Recommended

Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Is it possible to download and install another copy of Office 2010 Starter?

I just completed a clean re-install of Windows 10 on my mothers HP Pavilion p6-2112

and it copied over the Office Starter software.

@Jeff17866

Windows 10 actually REMOVED Microsoft Office Starter 2010. Microsoft says it is not compatible but if you wish please try to downoad and install again:

             https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=13208

Sorry, file has been removed, now please try

             https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6255-microsoft-office-starter-2010.html

Sorry again: It won't install with 64 bit computer. Now try alternative

Hi, @Jeff17866 :

I have zipped up and attached the stub file that will contact Microsoft's servers to download Office 2010 Starter.

However as banhien stated, Office 2010 Starter won't work with W10 -- unless you upgraded from W7 to W10 and it was already present.

Any clean installs of W10 negates Office 2010 Starter from working.

But you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot, I suppose.

Hi,

I actually dowloaded the second link (of my reply) above and test on my machines. It won't install on Windows 10 and Windows 7 64 bit.

I will test @Paul_Tikkanen zip file somethimes today.

Regards.

Thank you to both of you for your help.

I tried all of the links as well as the .zip file, none worked.

I went to the Windows Store and installed Office Online but am not crazy about it because it saves to One Drive.

Anyway, I thank you both.
