Hi
My hp laptop holding shiftkeys which causing freeze my laptop... Let me describe how it started
My windows 10 was demanding update but I delayed it for 2 months. Since last month my laptop stopped working it's audio/speakers which is normal for me bcoz after clean install windows10 it fixes itself automatically so I ignored it but few days later my keyboard started showing pop up "do you want turn on filter keys". And
Another issue was whenever I boot my pc; while filling password; keyboard stopped working and I found that it requires to click FORGOT PASSWORD to make keyboard work, keyboard was working fine after that. But few days later while using the laptop "DO YOU WANT TURN FILTER KEYS ON pop-up came, i had noticed same pop-up in past also while filling the password but this time laptop got freeze.. nothing was working so I decided to force shutdown. And after that it was not booting so I took it the local shop, shop guy opened and cleaned it's ram slots and hopefully it booted again. I came back home and decided to clean install windows10 but while installation it got stuck on JUST A MOMENT I tried several time but always stuck on 'just a moment', then I removed back panel and unplugged the keyboard connector and installed Windows 10 with the help of external usb keyboard. It works fine on external keyboard but when I plug the internet keyboard it stucks... I found some online tools to check keyboard like KEYTEST and I found it holding the SHIFTKEY(right side mostly) sometimes both shiftkeys... I have already disabled sticky keys, toggle keys that stuff..
But I haven't tried reinstalling keyboard drivers bcoz i don't know how to do that properly... Updating drivers by using device manager doesn't fix it, i tried that also...There are 2 keyboard drivers " HID keyboard driver and standard ps2 driver" idk which one to uninstall.... Is it driver problem or need to replace my keyboard? (I'm sure keyboard hardware is fine bcoz i always use external usb keyboard so it might be drivers problem)
