@Tiara1488 -- a few possibilities:

1. if the battery is removable, remove it, and try to power the laptop only from the AC power.

2. Use a "multimeter" to check that the voltage and amperage outputs from the AC power adapter are correct.

3. After being plugged-in for a while, is the AC power adapter "cold" or "warm" or "hot" ? Cold implies totally dead; warm implies normal operation; hot implies something wrong.

4. It is possible that the power-connector on the laptop is broken -- not transmitting any power to the motherboard. Only a technician can confirm this.

5. Find a friend with an identical power-adapter, and try connecting it to your computer.  Or, take your laptop to a store that sells such power-adapters, and "test" your laptop with that adapter.  Sometimes, you can find "pre-owned" power-adapters at the local Thrift Store, or at an "owner/operator" computer store.
