@Leech7000 @kpilg24 @jlcardwell @john19488 @vasthomas I understand this could be a frustrating experience, and we want to help you get this sorted, however, To diagnose this thoroughly and to help us work on a permanent solution, we need you to generate a detailed diagnostic report using the HP ImageDiags tool. This tool collects comprehensive information about your system’s hardware, software, BIOS, security settings, and logs that are essential for our technical team to analyse the root cause and recommend the correct fix.

Please follow these steps carefully to produce and share the diagnostic report:

  • Temporarily disable your antivirus software to avoid any interruptions during the process.
  • Download the HP ImageDiags tool, choosing version 4.x or 5.x, from the official HP link: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/caps-softpaq/cmit/support/HP_ImageDiags.html
  • Extract the downloaded file and run the setup executable with administrator privileges.
  • Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the diagnostic process, which usually takes about 30 to 40 minutes.

 

Once completed, save the generated report file and share it with me on a private message (to ensure your private information is secure and not shared in public) and we can begin the detailed analysis and work on resolving your issue effectively.

Your cooperation is vital and greatly appreciated, as this data allows us to provide the most accurate and timely assistance.

Dear Riddle,

 

I bought a gaming pc and it worked fine till now.

There will be a new Call of Duty released.We received info from Activision that there our TPM version is not correct, so we can’t play this game (one of the most anticipated games of 2025).

So our AMD board you provided in your PC needs an firmware upgrade.

And now you ask us to generate a detailed report using the HP ImageDiags tool???  Come on, if you have read our reply’s you know exactly what the problem is….  Pff, I thought a bought an high end pc with the specs needed for gaming for a lot of money. Did not expect that the service level of HP is that low that they can not provide a solution and are asking if the customers are generating diagnostic reports. Maybe you have somewhere a HP pc so you can do the reports yourself?  Very disappointing this…

listen this is all moot. get us an update in regards to the matter. major games requiring a working TPM version are releasing in days......dumping HP and making a social mess of this sounds about right at this point....

Can you please explain how collecting more information from us will help you solve this issue? I genuinely don't understand how that could help.

 

The issue is pretty cut-and-dry -- AMD released a firmware update in 2022, and HP needs to update ALL "am4" motherboards to include this firmware update for the "TPM Attestation Failure on AMD Platforms with ASP fTPM" issue.

 

What more do you need to know? And please don't just say "this information will help us". How? How exactly will it help you? Every single BIOS firmware for every single HP laptop and gaming desktop with an "am4" motherboard needs to be updated with the update AMD provided. Do you need us to give you a list of all the devices you've sold? What can you possibly need from us?

 

Please, -- I am begging you, please escalate this to someone in HP who can understand and prioritize this issue.
