Omen #870-119
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Need to know which to keep and others to remove by uninstall so I will have room on my Solid State Drive because I am running out of space in my Solid State Drive. Here are the list below:

HP Audio Switch (x64)

HP Documentation (x64)

HP JumpStart Bridge

HP JumpSTart Launch

HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows

HP Registration Service (x64)

HP Support Assistat

HP Support Solutions Framework

HP Sure Connect

HP TouchPoint Analytics Client (x64)

Now you see the list above and tell me which is important to keep and others can be uninstalled -- don't need for my desktop.

Thank you,

John

Others who have more direct experience doing this kind of customization can probably tell you specifically which of these is safe to remove and which should be left alone -- but personally, I would leave them alone.

They don't take up much room and I would be surprised if you can recover even 1GB of disk space removing some of these.

If you are plagued with one of the smaller "drives" (i.e., 32GB  or so), I would first pursue alternatives for recovering disk space:

Well I only got 220GB Solid State Drive that come with the desktop from HP. It woud be nice if we can get more than220 GB like 480 GB Solid State Drive or more. That would be no worry to have how much space in your SSD? Anyway thank you for the links that you posted yours. I will read and do what I can do to recover the space of my Solid State Drive.

It's worth knowing that every time Windows does an Update, it squirrels away the old files so it can restore them if needed, later.

It does the same with the prior version of Windows when it does one of the semiannual Upgrades.

I've run those removal routines myself and have been able to recover 2GB or more of disk space -- each time.
