As the HP Support Assistant would open and then it would shut after a few seconds, I reinstalled it. Now, it does not open at all as I get the Explorer message: Remote procedure Control Failed.
Suggestions?

Hi @Aeolus2015,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd like to help!
Let's reinstall HP Support Assistant - it might be corrupted.
1. Click on the Windows 10 Start button
2. Type/search for control.exe
Open Control Panel/control.exe
3. Go to Programs and features
4. Find HP Support Assistant, and follow the steps to uninstall it
5. Find HP Support Framework, and follow the steps to uninstall it
6. Click on the Start button and make sure you RESTART your computer
7. After successful restart, open this web page >> https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html
8. Click on the orange button at the top right and redownload HP Support Assistant.
9. Reinstall the HP Support Assistant
Hopefully, it will eventually start. Let me know how it goes
