Screen Freeze after black screen...

The screen on my pc has been black for awhile. It finally turned on but it turned on to a blue screen the prompted me through several options. This screen is now frozen after I tried to troubleshoot/backup my computer and it’s files. What can I do or what do I do at this point? I need documents on this laptop for employment.
