Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Received Intel email to update graphics driver:

 

Intel® Graphics - Windows® 10 DCH Drivers
Installing this Intel generic graphics driver will overwrite any customized driver from your Computer Manufacturer (OEM)

 

Have Navidia graphics driver OEM installed as well.  

Is this upgrade necessary?

Will it also overwrite my Navidia driver?

Hi,

 

I have never received an email from Intel, or any OEM for that matter, about updating drivers.

 

I would consider this email suspicious.

 

You don't need Intel graphics drivers if you are using a Nvidia graphics card.
