Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have an HP All in One running Windows 10.   The current problem has now progressed to the point the unit must be returned to the factory for repair.     My log in is tied to my Microsoft account.  I do not have any bit-locker or other encryption type software enabled.

Part of the video instructions state to remove all passwords.   How do I do that and not mess up my Microsoft account sign-in?

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know how to remove the Microsoft account password from the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You will not be able to remove the Microsoft account password from the computer. However, you can remove the Microsoft account from the computer and add it back to the computer once you receive it back from repair.

Here is how it is done.

Select the Start button, and then select Settings > Accounts > Email & accounts . Under Accounts used by email, calendar, and contacts, select the account you want to remove, and then select Manage. Select Delete account from this device. Select Delete to confirm.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
