bios update

keep receiving the bios update message from hp support after I already updated ...

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you keep getting a popup from HP Support Assistant to update BIOS even though it is updated, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to assist you. 

 

Based on the product number shared by you the latest version of BIOS on HP Website is F.23 Rev.A.

To make sure you have latest version of BIOS installed on your computer, open system information by searching and opening MSINFO32.

This would bring up the system information window on your screen and the version of BIOS will be displayed on the right-side. 

If the version displayed on system information is F.23 Rev.A.

Then open HP Support Assistant on your computer. 

Refer to "Checking for HP updates" section on this HP Article

You would see an X button on the right-side of the BIOS update in HP Support Assistant. 

Click on the X and it will no longer prompt you to update BIOS.
