brand new and black screen! 2nd computer n a week!!

Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

when will this black screen issue be resolved? Returned 1st Hp envy  due to black screen when opening and now this one is same> Soo frusterated..Knew i should have bought a Dell..Help?

You're very welcome.

 

This is what you need to do...skip 1 and 2 if you are using the notebook now and are in Windows.

 

  1. Boot the PC
  2. Wait 15-20 minutes for the boot process to complete and for the desktop to load
  3. Once on desktop, Download and install HP Image Enhancement for System Logon - http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81965.exe

Double click to run the file and follow the onscreen instructions to install.4. Re-boot
