burning a dvd

HP Recommended
Envy 750-170se desk top
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

 When I purchased my computer I thought it had software to burn a dvd with.  I have tried to burn a dvd and the only software I can find on my computer wil play the dvd but not burn.  When I purchased my computer I bought the 3 year warranty with it and was told that anytime I had problems with anything just call .  I called and hp wants to charge me 59.95 to help me with something that should already be on my computer.  So I am here asking for help.  Any suggestions?  Thanks

Your machine should have a software called Roxio Secure Burn. You can use it to burn DVD's.

           https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04829277

Please try (for Windows 10):

  (a) Hit Win key,

  (b) Locate Roxio software and open it.

I hit the win key and keyed in Roxio Secure and it took me to a web site.    Thank you very much for your help.  I was told I would have software to burn a dvd with but I do not. I have PowerMedia Player and that's all I can find.

Many HP machines come with CyberLink suite. I don't know why it is not available on your machine as shown on the above link. Please try

    ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp75501-76000/sp75514.exe

Hope it works on your machine.

Regards.

@banhien,

aj89 has definite issue(s)  beyond the norm.

I tried the link, and it was successful.

I am using Internet Explorer 11, and have McAfee Total Protection.

@aj89,

Use Internet IE 11. It is actually still part of the system.
