Hello,
Hp Support Assistant stated an update "Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver"  softPaq number sp101586 Version 1914.12.0.1256, and no matter if you click "Install now" or the "download and install" it does not install - it either goes through the process including stating it is installing the update but still shows that it needs the update.  And other times the process stays in at the "Installing" section and does not end.  I've even tried going to HP's website and downloading/ installing it from there.  Even so, the installation software completes without error.  Yet, even Windows apps and features does not show that it has been installed( the previous version was displayed).  I thought maybe I had to uninstall the old and install the new - so I uninstalled the old version - restarted and tried installing the new one.  Still will not install, and the HP Support Assistant still shows that I need to install the update.

If anyone has a solution for this, I'd appreciate it.  If you need more information, i'll try to post it - just let me know.

Thanks 🙂
