my laptop turns off at exctly 30 mins

I have done so many research and found out its caused due to overheating, but why does it turns off at exactly 30 mins, and if i turn on back immediately i believe its not cooled yet but it will still stay up for another 30 mins before off. if i put it in sleep mode at about the time it will turns off, it will still be in sleep mode still i exceeds the timing and press any button to wake it up and its fine for another 30 mins. Please help me.

Even in BIOS it still shut downs at same 30 mins, but when the system is on and in sleep mode it stays longer as it could and when i wake the system up again, the timer starts for 30 mins shutdown. If i put it back to sleep mode before it exceeds the 30 mins, it still stays on and if i wake the laptop up again the timer starts again. why is it not shutting off in sleep mode but in bios and active screen?

@9jaedublog Click here for steps to resolve overheating issues, you could try reducing the visual effects to make a minor change, also, ensure you are using a cooling pad as well, to be on a safer side.

Here's how you change windows settings to reduce visual effects:

• Go to Start Menu > click on Settings.
• Type performance > choose to Adjust the appearance and performance of Windows.
• In the new window, go to the Visual Effects and select Adjust for best performance.
• click Apply and Ok...this should do the trick.
