Hi:

 

I am very surprised that the link to order recovery media is not there.

 

HP must have discontinued selling it, and have sold their remaining kits to this vendor.

You can also reinstall W8.1 for free by downloading the W8.1 ISO file from the link below.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO

 

I have zipped up and attached the Microsoft utility you need that will transfer the ISO file to a DVD or USB flash drive so that it is bootable.

 

If you plan to boot from a DVD to reinstall W8.1 you have to go into the BIOS, enable legacy mode and disable secure boot.

If you plan to go the free route to install W8.1, after it installs, you can install the drivers and available software from your PC's support page.
