typing the letter "1" or "2" outputs as spam

Every time I type the letter one or two on my keyboard, it types spam. For example,

The letter types "2312wada12341234123412341342143234214321" and proceeds to delete some text, along with going up a page.

Are there any fixes? I can't find any on here.

You don't say what app you are using to do the typing and that can make all the difference.

If you have another USB keyboard, you should try that to see if it has the same issue.  If it does, then it is most likely the app you are using.  

You need to tell us what app you are using.

If it is a USB keyboard, connect it to a different computer, and see if continues to "misbehave". 

If so, it is time to responsibly recycle this "end-of-life" keyboard, and purchase a replacement.
