Recently, my 27es monitor has been displaying a green tint during full-screen video. This occurs during both in-browser video (e.g. Youtube) and video from my hard drive (Quicktime). This has only been occurring recently. The HDMI connection is securely fitted at both ends. I have the latest version of Mac OS X. The monitor is two years old. I tested the same videos with an Asus monitor that is several years older and did not encounter the same issue. No part of the computer or monitor have suffered any physical damage. Any help would be appreciated.

@Axemantitan,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC. The monitor should operate at 60Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

No, this is not a solution. The monitor displayed full-screen video just fine until recently.

@Axemantitan,

I recommend you check the monitor on a Windows PC and let me know if you are facing the same issue.

If the issue exists on a Windows PC, please share a screenshot of the same.

Cheers!
