Hi there, I just got a brand new Macbook Pro and brand new 34f curved monitor...

When I plug everything in, the Macbook recognizes the monitor in the "displays" and I am able to see all the specs plus the Macbook screen flickers when I connect as if it's about to work... but the monitor just stays asleep, or if not asleep, it will just say "input signal not found" and go to sleep... I am using the provided HDMI cable with a USB-C adapter. Am I missing something obvious?

I also tried connecting my other Mac to the monitor via the provided USB Type-B cable with the same result... Please help!

Edit: I'm ordering a USB-C to DP cable per a similar problem someone had on here this week. We'll see if that helps.
