HP Recommended

I just got this Z book 4th gen and i want to salvage it the screen is black but it powers on

when i try to use an external monitor, it won't show up, but the monitor recognizes the connection.

but it won't show on the screen i tried the windows and b i see it recognizes but nothing happens.

should i replace the motherboard or graphics card or both to get it going i d hate to waste it or sell for parts?
