Accidentally unistalled the touchscreen

HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My touchscreen was not working so I googled how to fix it. A site said to follow some steps with Device Manager then uninstall it then restart and then reinstall it. After restarting computer it was not there to reinstall it.

I am NOT good with computers so a dummy proof walk through would be appreciated.

@levertc,

Thank you for posting your query on HP Community,

What is the product number of your HP notebook? Use this link to find it:  https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c03754824  (Ensure you do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc...).

Have you checked if the touchscreen works in the Bios?

Alternatively, have you tried to run the test on the touchscreen from F2(Under component test).

Could you please respond to this post with the details so that I can provide you with accurate solution which should help you resolve this issue.

Waiting for your response!

Thank you 🙂
