Hi - As this is very old PC and doesn't have any HDMI, I'm struggling to add extra monitor to it. I have tried few DVI-VGA and DVI-HDMI converters, but no luck. I also bought extra graphic card with HDMI and VGA port, but system is unable to recoganise it. When first installed, windows 10 was not able to identify the card and now screen doesn't get on when I start PC.
I'm happy with PC and don't want to replace it, so please help me with an idea to add extra monitor to extend my display.

hi
at the time of writing, I find little information for this old model
Which graphics card did you buy exactly?
main causes if not working
the power supply is insufficient for the graphics card
Ex: 180w while the graphics card requires a 300w power supply
the graphics card is much too recent, it will not be able to work, nothing to do!
For adapter problems, you have to find the right one.
Sometimes it's just not suitable, unfortunately I only have the test for an hdmi displayport adapter
I may have used a DVI/VGA adapter, but I don't remember what standard .. you have different types of dvi

Hi- Many thanks for coming back so quickly.
As I best remember, it is Gigabyte GeForce GV-N710D3-2GL 2GB PCI-Express Graphics Card. If you are correct about mismatch in power supply, is there a workaround to provide more power to see if that works?
Would you be able suggest any alternate way to add another monitor to this PC?

Do you know what version of the bios you have?
if of type 7.xx
In theory only old graphics cards
AMD Radeon HD 6xxx cards, or a Nvidia GT (X) 6xx card
can be used
on condition of having the required power supply for the chosen model

Either you find a small graphics card, as mentioned nvidia 6xx series model
Who would allow you to use two monitors, but beware, no big games!
Either yes, maybe, buy a newer model, this one being already quite old
