All-in-one(24-g247c) Touch screen not recognizing

HP Recommended
HP All-in-one - 24-g247c
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My touch screen stopped working suddenly and the there is no driver visible in the Device drivers in the Human Interface Devices for touch screen.

Opened up the BIOS to check the component testing, there also the touch screen is not showing up for component testing. I remember earlier this used show up and once I have tested the touch screen in BIOS.

Tried the  below items already.

Used the HP assistant and updated the Bios(AMI F.60, 11/19/2019) and completed all pending updates in windows and related software. No pending updates from the software.

Any suggestion for fixing the touchscreen is highly appreciated.

@MarathSunil Did you check if the touchscreen works in the BIOS Screen?

  • This would help us determine if this is either a software or hardware related issue, hence I request you tap on F10 during a PC restart and check if you can use the touch feature to select options outside windows.
  • If it doesn't work, this could be a hardware malfunction.
  • If it works, please use the HP website to download all the latest drivers for your device using this link: click here
