HP Recommended

My icons/apps disappeared from my desktop screen and I cannot right click while on my desktop. I have updated my computer, scanned it for corrupt files, and tried other methods to recover my icons on my screen, but nothing has gotten them back. There is also a random grey bar in the top left corner of my desktop.
