Product: HP Z800
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings. I have an Hp Z800, rev2 motheboard.

 

I recently purchased an AMD RX580 8 gb video card, I installed it, work ok, but I would like to know... In wich slot it is the better to install it so that I get no bottleneck?

 

My system

 

Windows 10

Hp z800

2 xeon X5690 cpus

96 gb ram

HDd, SSd, NVME

HP Z400 and Z800 Workstations - NVIDIA Tesla Compute Processor card installation

 PCI Express Graphics Card Installation

https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-z800-workstation/3718645/manuals
So should just be one of the 75W PCIe2 x16 ports
one or the other it should not make a difference logically
