Auto-Dim

HP Recommended

We are using HP Pavilion B&O All in One Desktop which has an annoying auto-dimming factor. Depending on the website we are on and how bright it is, the display will automatically adjust. I don't want this option and would prefer the screen remain bright unless I manually adjust to my liking

Hello, sorry for leaving this important information out! HP Pavilion B&O All in One Desktop 23-Q120 (touch screen monitor) is there more details you needed to provide support? Just let me know and I will try my best to accommodate the inquiry. Thanks for your kind attention on this matter.

Thank you for the update.

 

Try updating the computer, this will install the latest updates -

 

Step 1 Windows Updates -

1) In the search box, type, and open Windows Updates.

2) Check for updates.

3) If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

 

Step 2 Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type, and open HP Support Assistant. 
  2. Check for updates. 
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.  

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.
