Example: ENVY TE01-0165t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Tried to connect two monitors.  One with HDMI worked.  Purchased DVI-D to DisplayPort adapter cord for the other.  HDMI monitor works.  DisplayPort monitor is not detected.

@ict2020,

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know the best way to connect two monitors to your computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

  • What are the available interfaces on the Monitor? (Part from display port)
  • Have you tested with more than one display port adapter?
  • Are you using an active adapter or a passive adapter?

Meanwhile, I recommend you update the BIOS and the graphics driver from the below link and check if it helps.

Let me know how it goes and you have a great day!

Thank you for your response.  My monitors had HDMI and DisplayPort inputs.  My PC had HDMI and DVI.  The HDMI to the first monitor worked fine.  For the second monitor, I purchased a DVI to DisplayPort cable, which did not work.  Prior to receiving this answer, I purchased a DVI to HDMI cable and it worked fine with no additional setup.
