Just bought a HP VH240a monitor to hook up to my 2019 21 inch iMac.. text is very pixelated and blurry. Not sure how to calibrate it properly. Any ideas? Thanks!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are facing issues with the display quality on the monitor.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

  • Have you tested the monitor on a Windows computer?
  • Did you try adjusting the settings in the Monitor OSD menu?

HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, newer Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display to most HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac while the Mac is off, and then turn on the MAC. The monitor should operate at 60Hz.The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!
