Product: HP Pavilion p7-1200 Desktop PC series
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I recently had to purchase a new monitor that only has HDMI or DP connections on the back, however my PC only has VGA connections.  I purchased an adapter and still cannot get the monitor to work, it states there is no signal.

From VGA to HDMI or DP is from analog signals to digital signals, you need a proper converter. What is your adapter ?
