Product: HP pavilion

I only got my laptop a week ago and already the screen brightness won’t adjust I have tried going onto the device manager and monitors and enabling the pnp but it only brightens the screen and I have to keep doing it as it goes dull after a while again . This also doesn’t let me go from brightness to brightness it just stays at one level

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did this happen after a recent window or software update?
  • Have you made any hardware/software changes?
  • What is the product number of your device? Use this link to find it: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03754824
  • Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
